Do you have a ‘ME’ list?

Are you like me, and you operate your day by lists of things to do?

I love lists of things to do and ticking them off 1 by 1.

My daily tasks are often monumental and I absolutely love my work, so get great satisfaction out of it.

BUT, if I’m not careful, I haven’t left my chair or computer for 5 hours, because the list of 10 things can often turn into 50 by the end of the day.

So, at the start of each day I make my lists into categories.

And its not what you think, its not of priority, that comes later. My categories are different components to my life.

This could be family, work, social, fitness, creative, but then most importantly I have a ‘ME’ list.

If I don’t have a ME list, I often get to the end of the day and thing, oops I forgot about ME today.

Do you do that too?

My ‘ME’ lists are there to make me feel good. This could be a facial, massage, meditating, going for a walk, listening to music, putting a face mask on and relaxing. buying myself flowers, take myself out for a nice lunch… Its just to create some time for myself, and celebrate ME. A time for a re-charge and to remember who I am.

Why don’t you give it a go too? Your ME list doesn’t have to be extravagant, it could also just take 10 minutes out of your day, but its a way to re-connect and be human, Away from stress, your phone, work, and the mania our world can create and tune in to your soul.
